About to have my first 'Chinese' takeaway since arriving in Australia, shocked I've coped for so long in all honesty! Getting it from the 'Best Chinese Restaurant in the Darling Downs Region', EEK, IT'D BETTER BE NICE!!! LOL

It's grand, not had it out since Rainbow Beach over New Years...might have to use it to get to the gym in the morning though lol

Fine ta, water was lapping against the walls of the house earlier but when the rain stopped the water retreated. Reports of at least one dead in Toowoomba so far, bloody awful, truly bloody awful!

Heh Jen,any updates from Toowoomba? Just saw the news at 7 and it looked scary with all of those vehicles being swept away and ppl clinging to trees.Has it subsided any since lunch time or worse perhaps ? Hope you are OK

I haven't ventured into the CBD, I think I'll just hide here for a few days til the rain stops! My mate's hubby is in the Army and is air crew so he might be called out tomorrow morning, if so, I'm taking her to the dentist to have her wisdom teeth out and ....I'M SCARED LOL
