Stay out of the CBD for a couple of days, Jen, its virtually closed while they sort out the mess.

Current figure for missing people throughout Toowoomba/Lockyer Valley is 72 :(

I fell into a deep sleep and have just woken to Simon back home. He's been put on standby to go out and help with the cleanup effort. So shocked I actually managed to relax enough to fall into such a deep sleep! :(

Yep so far, but the river is rising and we're expecting the water from Toowoomba and Wivenhoe dam to come down at some point.

Keeping an eye on it. Problem is the roads are already jam packed out of Brisbane and Ipswitch is closed off. Not really sure where we could go to if we need to!

Just move all your valuable photos and docs to a high part of the house etc. I'll say a little heathen prayer for you. Fingers crossed it won't get that bad! :(

Alls good, tho it's STILL raining...just stocked up on bread and milk and now gonna 'wait it out'...
