Hello
Just thought I would drop in to say Hi.
We have now been in Mellie 13 years...can't believe it. A few years ago we almost made a move to Adelaide but we are easy to lazy !! So still in Mellie.
I'm still slogging away in a hosp lol and OH unfortunately recently lost his job due to a some kind of virus that's going around.
My daughters are happy , one a teacher now and one works in recruitment in the city .
Just thought I would wondering what will happen in the next yesr due to these uncertain times.😲

Sorry to hear about the OH - hopefully once things improve he'll find another.

Thought I would pop in with another wee update. What a year eh? Who saw a bloody pandemic coming!
For us there has been a few changes in last year. Hubby's job got reinstated but 4 days instead of 5 but we definately count thst as lucky
Covid times in the hospital was crazy, I often thought /thi k about my NHS colleagues and how they were coping, I felt a bit guilty here! As we had time in the hosps to get organized for the worst and fortunately the worst didn't happen! (It was bad but not NHS bad!)
It's funny and nostalgic now to look back to BE posts...It was FB before FB was a thing.
Anyhoooo , our lives are changing again as we are now empty nesters and that's wierd! Our kids thrived here and are defo scossies not full Ozzie...They still wear thier birth country with pride 🙂
We have just sold our falling down house thst we managed to buy by the skin of our teeth 5/6 years ago . Melbourne house prices just get crazier and crazier ..dunno if we can afford to buy again (where we want that is!)
but hoping for a 2 bed apart nearer my work and nearer the city .
