Forgot to mention: this was my first time flying on an Airbus 380-800. The sheer size of the thing simply blew me away. It takes three separate jet bridges, and seats 525 passengers across two decks. Makes the Boeing 747 look like a toy.
We flew with Emirates (our preferred airline) and I counted 12 Airbus 380s in their section of the apron at Dubai.

Good on ya buddy, great to read. As you are so keen: when taking photos, maybe place your subject (especially people) not quite in the centre : and decide where to crop: makes you a gun photographer and makes a difference.

Thanks Vash, that was a wonderful read and your photos are gorgeous. Laughed my head off at a few things you wrote, especially the comparison between UK and Oz sunshine. Poetic AND bang on!

Absolutely lovely photos, don’t really see the need to comment on composition... the photos of the town really make you homesick so the post should come with a warning lol
