I can never do Mon, Wed & Friday so if don't get any booking for Tues next week or Thursday we can do it next week maybe as I'm doing Thursday this week.

Tomorrow's definitely out for me too girls. My GP has booked me an urgent appt with a neuro for tomorrow
. I'll be in touch as soon as things settle down as I'm looking forward to meeting you both. Need to get well again first though.

I'm a bit freaked out to be honest, no matter the outcome, I believe I'll be put on long term medication. I've been told there's a chance I have a clot on the brain so as you can imagine, I'm all over the place tonight and hoping that's not the case. Which neuro are you seeing? I'm seeing Dr Joffee at 10 then have an MRI booked at the Mater at 1pm. Good luck for you for Friday too.

I'm not sure of the time with you now and whether you've had your appt & mri but just wanted to say i'm thinking of you and hope the scan's clear. I know it's scary when you get an appt that quickly but at least you'll have some answers. Take care x

My sister recently went through the same thing- really bad headaches that lasted days. She had an MRI scan and it showed 3 small bleeds, so she was put on meds. However they did not know how old the bleeds were, and there seem to be no physical effects, headaches apart. The meds have helped the headaches, and she can do everything she did before- except scuba dive at the moment, which she is annoyed about. She is 43.
I didn't want to say anything earlier, but as the subject has been brought up, I thought I'd try to reassure you that it might not be as bad as you think. Try not to worry too much (says she, who is the world's worst worrier).
My neurologists are Professor R. Beran in Chatswood, and Prof. S. Levy in Campbelltown. I'm on a trial atm hence having to trek all the way down to Campbelltown once every 12 weeks for an independent assessment.

Sorry for not replying sooner everyone. Well, I've been poked, prodded and pinched to within an inch of my life. Thankfully, the MRI was clear but we have uncovered a complication which is now being treated. Still having daily headaches, and never been so tired in my entire life, but the pain is managed so much better now and I feel much better.
We're taking a little family holiday while the kids are off and hopefully, a recharge of the old batteries will do the world of good
