Default Hiring and travelling with my partner

HI there all, im new to this site but have a question.
I am currently looking into working in canada as a class1 truck driver and was wondering if it is allowed for my partner to travel in the truck with me while i drive.
We have no kids so thats not a problem and are both in our 30's.
Just that if all this goes ahead i dont really want to leave my partner in a new country by herself for weeks at a time.
If so does anyone know of Canadian companies that do this?

I look forward to any information.....

The company I worked for in Canada (Kindersley) allowed you to take people with you in the truck, but it was only for 2 weeks at a time which you had to request and have a form signed by the boss. Don't know if you could just keep asking for a new form every 2 weeks and continually take someone.
If she gets a CDL, maybe you could run team?
