Personally, I've never sent one, and never will. Obviously I don't speak for the left, of course.

I always thought Pulaski created from the word Polak , with ski to make it more Russian sounding.

Pulaski is a Polish surname. For example, Polish soldier Casimir Pulaski who served with the Continental Army during the revolutionary war. Schools in the Chicago area get the first Monday in March off for Pulaski Day, celebrated due to the large Polish contingent in the area.

Now I know why I can only buy Polish hotdogs and not good old English hotdogs. I miss a good old Englsh banger sometimes. There is too much anti English here

I was joking about the Polak thing btw.

If it's not Vienna Beef, it's not a hot dog ...

Most hot dog sausages here are going to be German in origin, and beef rather than pork. A few butchers around our way sell pork 'bangers' though, you might be able to find them if you look around.

I agree, but at School fetes and bonfire night they were generally pork or pork and beef sausages.

I still haven't got the taste for chicken sausages, they still taste weird to me after all these years.

Any time I had a hot dog at a barbecue in the UK, it was always just a regular pork sausage, same as the ones you'd use for fry-ups and bangers and mash. I used to love the beef sausages we got out of our semi-local butcher though, they were the dog's bollocks.

I've never had a chicken sausage. Or at least I don't think so. I've eaten so many 99c US hotdogs, I've probably had chicken, squirrel, raccoon and vagrant in my time.

If a karma message offends...please copy and paste it and send it to me. There is a certain person amongst us who loves to send such messages...this person needs to stop sending them.

It was all I could take

But I wanted to watch it play out ... I knew he would eventually shit the bed though and, as per usual, he didn't disappoint.

I thought it was about the mumps epidemic that's just started in the US.
