Personally, I've never sent one, and never will. Obviously I don't speak for the left, of course.

Pulaski is a Polish surname. For example, Polish soldier Casimir Pulaski who served with the Continental Army during the revolutionary war. Schools in the Chicago area get the first Monday in March off for Pulaski Day, celebrated due to the large Polish contingent in the area.
I was joking about the Polak thing btw. |

Now I know why I can only buy Polish hotdogs and not good old English hotdogs. I miss a good old Englsh banger sometimes. There is too much anti English here :(
I was joking about the Polak thing btw. Most hot dog sausages here are going to be German in origin, and beef rather than pork. A few butchers around our way sell pork 'bangers' though, you might be able to find them if you look around. |

I still haven't got the taste for chicken sausages, they still taste weird to me after all these years. |

I agree, but at School fetes and bonfire night they were generally pork or pork and beef sausages.

I used to love the beef sausages we got out of our semi-local butcher though, they were the dog's bollocks.

I thought it was about the mumps epidemic that's just started in the US.
