Yebbut the UK (and Ireland and Malta and Cyprus) can't forbid the importation and sale of LHD vehicles, it's just with a plentiful supply of RHD vehicles, who would buy them. I shouldn't be terribly surprised if the Single Market regulations are written to make UK and Continental plugs valid everywhere in the EEA but again, you wouldn't be able to sell many items with UK plugs outside the UK/Ireland and vice versa.

And electrical voltage standards have been nominally harmonized to 230V from 240V in the UK and Ireland and 220V elsewhere.

...by the expedient of changing the supply limits....
