Default Procrstination

I have things on my to-do-list that are as old as 10 months. And not trivial things either. Very important things. All my life, I've been like this. If I don't like something I somehow don't do it and suffer the consequences. Logically it makes no sense since those things get on the list for a purpose. They are to my benefit. But somehow it's always the same. Today was yet another day when at the beginning of the day I said to myself today I would do x, no matter what. It's now past 8pm and still haven't started.

Arrghhh

How, why, what....

I get the humour.
But....
this is my nth to-do-list over the last 10 months that lists the same things over and again along with things that stay contemporary because I take care of them.
I am hating myself for this (so only managing a very slight grin at your humour)

I do this too. A lot. With everything. Be it stuff that is to my benefit (signing up for drivers ed classes, fixing up my resume, etc) or things I don't give two shites about (anything to do with school) .... All things I don't want to do. I usually just sit here on BE and other sites or playing games. I get it.

When I get around to making a list, making a list is going to be the #1 item on it.

I am a huge procrastinator, will take me forever to get anything done that needs to be done, I am easily side tracked and put off the less desirable things until I absolutely have to and there is no other choice...If its an option to skip something I don't want to do, i will find a way to do so.

Well maybe I understated when I said "to my benefit". I should have said "must do" stuff. Such as UK tax affairs. Such as US health insurance. And other fundamental personal stuff...

Pfffff..

Oooooh, thank you for that photo. Made me forget everything.
Yes, so it's that easy to get sidetracked.

Sally, you bad bad girl. You are a naughty friend! :-)
