In contrast with Katrina, as you say, people were given plenty of warning. Some left the areas under warning, some choose not to. The damage to property was a separate thing from the overall death count which you don't dispute was less than 1,000. The property damage would happen regardless of folks leaving or staying in, for example, the New Orleans area, so I am not sure what your point here is. The President of the day is not responsible for property damage done by a storm ... Katrina, as bad as it was, does not anywhere stretch to the Vietnam death toll.
So I ask again, what had GW done that puts him in the category, "The Worst President in History"?

His defense department gives huge contracts to ‘friendly’ corporations without even the semblance of open bidding or fair awarding of contracts. Halliburton, for instance, was awarded a $7 billion contract, non-competitively, to repair Iraq’s oil infrastructure. (The former CEO of Halliburton is none other than the sitting vice-president, Mr Cheney.)

That means that this year alone the United States has financed its lowered taxes, its costly war in Iraq, its growing demand for cheap goods, by a total of $1.29 trillion. The US has never faced this kind of debt before...does that work for you. He is responsible, he and his party who as you rightly point out are in control of Congress. Is any of this making sense?

Restarting a war that Daddy couldn't finish, because that naughty UN wouldn't let him.

The good news is I'm off on an all expenses paid trip to the birthday party of a Haliburton director in an 18k white gold replica of the Taj Mahal.

Vietnam dwarfs Iraq, where more bombs were dropped on Vietnam than in WWII, several tens of thousands of Americans lost their lives in the Vietnam war. Vietnam did not attack America. Under the last President, bombs were dropped on a country in Europe's backyard that also did not attack America. Under a previous U.S. President, the atom bomb was developed and dropped on two cities. So I ask again, what is it that GW has done that places him in the category, "The Worst President in History"?
