What do others drinks? What are some good beers out there, no matter which country they come from.

I'm also partial to Asahi but hard to find in FL. Every now and again I'll buy a Chimay, which is a great Belgium beer

In this cultural mecca I don't have any good draught beers to choose from
I can get draught Boddingtons in one bar in town, but thats as close to a good beer I can get.

I drink Bud select because it tastes a lot better than the other lite beers and I found very clearly that drinking imports and the local microbrews made me put on more weight

Too many to say. I guess from comments posted previously, I live in beer mecca as there is no shortage of top draw draft or bottled beers around here.
By the way, I believe the Asahi here is brewed in Canada.

We miss VB! If anyone knows of any company that imports this beer, let me know. I'm pretty sure it cannot be distributed in the US because of labelling and bottling laws, but you never know, things change.

Not a beer drinker myself, I use Miller or Bud though in my beer bread, but thats as far as I ever get to buying it. Im a whino, always have been and always will be.

If I'm at the local off-licence/bottle shop or whatever they're called over here, I usually buy the Chinese beer Tsing Tao. It's only available in bottles. I used to drink it all the time in Singapore, it's lovely stuff, much nicer than the award-winning Singaporean lagers Tiger Beer or Anchor beer (which I think is also imported to the US).

Tsing Tao is sold in Trader Joe's as well. (Tao rhymes with Cow and you don't pronounce the T in Tsing, you just say Sing).

If I can't get Tsing Tao then I'll buy Heineken instead. Didn't I read on the forum here recently that Carlsberg is going to be available in the US?

Some of the local bars have Boddingtons and Stella Artois on tap.

Its hard to find a good bottle of red in my part of the world.

I used to drink Plymouth Gin back in the UK, a friend got me on to Tanquery 10 - almost identical to my surpirse.

I found it hilarious that here in LA the most fashionable beer to drink available in the trendiest of restaurants and bars is none other than that good old student standby newcastle brown!
Weirdly it comes in these funny little bottles unlike the giant pint size bottles impoverished students swig on a nightly basis in blighty.
