Did she just "retire" or was there more to it? I found her immigration advice very helpful many years ago when I lurked here.

The only person to answer that should be Mo herself. I will say though that it was a sad day for all the mod crew but because we cared all we could do was wave her farewell & let her go free, just as we have with several wonderful mods down through the years.

Not USA related but some post seem to be of other countries, I miss few names from Oz forums but one of my clients is Cranni from BE, didn't make the connection until sometime later, she's doin fab with all of her family finally in Oz

I often wonder about many of my old BE mates. Some like footiechick who I know never made the move, some like mcmercer who came and then went home, mlbonner who came and then vanished, and soooooo many others who just don't post now. Would like to track down the Dagboys too....wonder how their kids grew up, they were two cute -if troublesome-boys !

Dags are great. The boys are at Uni, very bright doing double degrees in Sciences. Rob and Eddie still madly in love and mad.

There's a strong tendency for some members of BE to attack the source of information. Just as they say, 'a different person when he gets behind the wheel of a car', it seems like internet forums bring out a certain 'attack' personality that is otherwise hidden. I've seen way too many vicious attacks on people offering excellent information on this forum, and I know it ultimately takes its toll. I got such awesome help from Kaffy, and Mo, and others on a diverse array of topics. It's so sad that they felt motivated to leave. Really is quite sad.
