Today is home made spag and the last jar of home made walnut pesto.

Summer needs to hurry up so we can grow more basil and the like to make and freeze more. Can't believe how expensive pesto is around here considering it's so cheap to make

I quite like mayo in my sarnies.

Obviously not in a jam sarnie, but on a ham and cheese, it's quite good.

Plus waiting for the butter to soften to spread on the bread is a pain in the arse and I can't be bothered to have another dish to wash if I chucked some in the microwave to soften it.

Not a damn thing wrong with that. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Chinese tonight, myself

Yes, cold and rainy here.... Back to comfort food mode.

Beef stroganoff over mashed potatoes and asparagus.

I'm thinking about finding a good bean soup recipe though...

Tonite was a drive through Mexican and 12 taquitos (although on the menu it was billed as "rolled up tacos")

I agree! I just planted out some oregano and mint, but I don't think basil can take these cold nights we've been having.

Can't wait for the "real" spring to show up--not this freezing impostor!
