Default What was dinner last night?

Made a stir fry.

One pan had sauteed cabbage and onions, virgin olive oil.
The other, green pepper, mushroom and roast duck.

Washed down with Sauvignon Blanc.

Finished with salted caramel, pretzel and banana frozen custard. (A treat.)

Chicken and rice. Where the rice has chicken soup mixed in, then more spread out on top of it. Mmmm.

Washed down with a can of pop. No afters though, we're not made of money.

Kids had leftovers of this with some carrots and broccoli ( and some leftovers of leeks in white sauce which didn't really go but youngest loves it)

I scarfed down the first half of my sandwich between ballet and soccer, and the second half and an apple between soccer and scouts..... roll on summer......

My lentil soup (because it's cold here AGAIN....) with raw baby carrots & bread-machine flax bread on the side. The husband had some sliced browned kielbasa in his soup.

Strawberries for afters.

Oh no he'd been ejected by this time. Everything else was just leftovers thrown in the pan.

The frozen custard was bought locally but I blended some bananas that were very ripe, and threw in some pretzels for texture.

Fish finger salad sarnies....because I can't be arsed to cook all the time and we've finally finished all the pulled pork and all the other stuff we'd made for kidlette's birthday bash over the weekend.

Frozen custard? Is that, er, frozen custard as in custard-as-we-know-it-in-blighty and put in the freezer?

More like an egg, cream, sugar concoction..heated and blended, then frozen while still being blended in a special machine.
