Default Voltage transformers? Recommendations

Can anyone recommend a voltage transformer for a U.K. sewing machine that is 75W and another that is 135W? I’ve seen some on amazon but am wary of the 5* reviews. Thanks!

Presumably you've made sure both items have 50/60hz stamped on their rating plate? If they are only rated for 50hz, it doesn't matter how good your transformers are, the motors will run faster on 60hz.

As for transformers it's fairly hit and miss with quality on cheaper items, if you are planning on running both machines at once then just make sure it's rated for at least 270w for good measure, otherwise 170w rating should be good if the 135w machine is the heaviest draw you'll be using.

Got a similar one to the one in below link. Used it for a 220-240volt 1600 watt power tool.

Powerbright VC3000W
https://www.amazon.com/Bright-VC3000W-Voltage-Transformer-converter/dp/B000MY02LQ
Works fine. It is a Step-up and Step-down transformer. When you are sizing the Wattage, add about 60% to the watt rating of your tool to size the transformer with the appropriate wattage.
