So this is the most complained about TV moment of the year so far. 487 people were offended enough that they let Ofcom know.

I really enjoyed the retro-crime double bill of Lucian and The Great Train Robbery. Ecclestone in Lucan, was terrible trying to be uber posh, but as the character had humble burnings maybe that's how he was, either way the two partner survived it. The first part was much more successful, being the build up to the murder, and the drama flowed, as much of it was either known or reasonable deduction. The second part relied more on speculation, but still was more than watchable.
Same for the Robber show too, the Robbers Story, part 1, was more watchable than The Coppers Story. It does not look at the overseas search for Reynolds or Biggs. Biggs has a very small role in the drama.
Talking retro crime, I have also been enjoying Ripper Street, I like how they bring issues of the day in to the stories, like John Merrick and The Irish Brotherhood.

Other than Dr Who and Downton Abbey, what Christmas specials do we have to look forward to this year?

I watched Eastenders as I've not seen it in months, plus I've got Cora to watch at work tomorrow. I have Dr Who too but I'll probably never get round to watching it.
Downton was average at best
