Strange to see 'Saboo' in such a different role!

Discovered some new viewing pleasures online which I am saving for a particularly agreeable evening ...

Comic Strip - 30 Years (a new documentary available in your usual haunts )

Comic Strip - Five Go To Rehab (new episode! It's on YouTube, but don't let that stop you downloading it )

Charlie Brooker's 2012 Wipe (I can't get enough Charlie in my life either Bob)

No reviews but I imagine they are all ace

Judging by the number of complaints, I've had to go find this out
This was brilliant

Anyway, ITV have a new period drama, Mr Selfridge, about the chap from Chicago who came to London to set up the store. This was supposedly done before The Paradise, but the Beeb beat them to advertising so they held off on it till afterwards.

Seems to be getting good or better reviews too.

Do I want to watch "The Hour"? I've never seen it and i can't quite figure out what it is meant to be about.
Presumably I would want to go back and start at season 1.

I watched the first series and loved it. Yet to watch the 2nd. It's got some excellent actors -- Ben Wishaw, Dominic West and Romolo Garai.

Here's some info on the 2nd series to help you make up your mind:

A bit on the 1st series:

And yes, you need to watch the first series before you watch the second.

I started to watch the first episode when it was aired some time ago...but for some reason couldn't get into it. I think I will give it another try and report back.

Just starting a new 7th series....don't know if they're two parter stories though...

I think this is supposed to be the last series? Either way, it's fun seeing how home has changed

Well there's now only 2 pubs rather than 5 in spitting distance of where I used to live...and the place is filled with those annoying traffic "calming" bollards, so there might be some truth to it

Saying that, the old manky driving test place is now a swish set of dorms for Brookes Uni and there's a huge mosque in the skyline too, so not all bad
