Anyone catch The Bridge?

It's a remake of a Canadian cop show that was rather good, but this one didn't sound very good...

Reality tv show found tapes type of show.

Perception and Saving Hope are also back for second series and both still seemed pretty good.

Siberia...kind of enjoying it. It really does appear to be a Survivor type reality show and does it well, because you immediately hate most of the shiny characters and want to see them die, so quite realistic there then.

Anyway, accidents happen and production folks try to down play it and things go on and there are typical character rivalries that also make this interesting.

Tad slow in the first episode, but gets a little more interesting in the second and certainly has potential.

Perception and Saving Hope have been good too.

It is actually a remake of the Danish show - Bron / Broen - from 2011. The Danish version was brilliant; not too impressed with this American version.

Really?

The Canadian one came out in 2010, but I guess it has a different premise then, but that's a pretty decent cop show too, set in Toronto I think it was.

"Orange is the new black" a NetFlix original, worth a watch. The Mrs says it reminds her of "Bad Girls" the ITV series. This has more comedy in it though.

Unfortunately I did. Both are really bad but the wife likes them.

I liked them too, but thought they had run their course in the previous series.

Just saw the first episodes and wasn't really impressed with the starts.

I like suits..... I wish it was less "styled" because IMO it distracts from the content.
This is the start of the 3rd series, and while i don't think it's done just yet, but it may not need a season 4 :)

(still, my fav lawyer show is "the good wife", which is brilliant - but I'm not sure that it could be picked up mid-season by a new viewer with as much enthusiasm as in our house, where we've never missed an episode)

I started to lose interest in The Good Wife halfway through the sat season. I record it ...but it always seems to overshoot its time slot,

We're as captivated by it now as we were season 1 - prob more so.... Just entering season 5... but I really don't think you could just start watching it now and enjoy the sub-plots

Perhaps the only other series I've felt captivated by has been Dexter. And that's because we have to either watch on netflicks or dvd.
Normally I don't have loyalty to a show like this.

No one will than me for this but, Zero Hour started broadcasting from where they left off. It does not get any better.

Thanks to DH am watching the Beeb's The White Queen by Phillipia Gregory which really got slammed!! Had a bit of a break with it when they did an insert 2 hr bit by Gregory on the "real" White Queen and her female peers, Anne Neville and Margaret Beaufort. Gregory, after running down a list of Margaret Beaufort's personality traits (wouldn't want her for my BFF), said she's a heroine. Seriously? Woman capable of having two young boys killed? A woman who takes herself a little toooooooooooo seriously? A religious fanatic??

I must have missed that description of heroism.

Strike Back, 4 th series just started... Thinking it might be getting a bit long in he tooth but have it lined up for later all the same.

Was Breaking Bad worth going back to then? Love the show but not so much the last series.
