I went to my friends wedding last weekend and for the first time I didnt feel gutted that she had all her family around her. The only time I've felt nostalgic ironically is driving down the main road through my town and seeing all the shops that I've spent the last 4 years walking around. I'm sure there will be a time when I will feel sad however at the moment I'm looking forward to getting home and getting on with things and feeling alive again. In the words of American Idol, Its been an amazing journey! however as I knew it wouldn't last forever I would rather go now than drag it on and leave later, when it would be truly hard. Now its time to get on with life and I cannot wait.
