It is strips of dried meat, just like jerky really but with different spices.

They use all sorts of animals, besides beef. I have had ostrich biltong as well as biltong made from many different kinds of antelope or deer.

He isnt a cake person (battenberg droooooooooollll!!!) My mum served him black pudding last time we were over and he put it onto my plate when she wasnt looking....LOL hehe she thought he liked it so much she put another couple of pieces onto his plate. I laughed myself stupid watching him force it down..... While she watched him.....I know I'll go to hell
