Default Strange Country.

There's a large piece of open farmland near us, which is very rare for this part of NJ. A while back a sign appeared saying it was being bought by a free land trust, shortly after that a bigger sign appeared saying it had been bought by The Camden County Free Land Trust (read Taxpayer....me) "Purchased forever for the people of Camden County", with a nice little logo of a swing under a tree. I thought, great maybe they'll turn it in a country park.
This week 2 small signs appeared saying "POSTED PRIVATE PROPERTY"

Oh well, never mind.

Heh, if you think that's strange, I visited an area where the open land had signs that people would shoot if you trespassed onto their property. I would believe it, too.

Are you going to introduce yourself, or do we have to torture it out of you?

Welcome to BE. Let the newbie-baiting commence!

By the way, the place to introduce yourself is here:

Our first house, in a Philly suburb, had a detached 2½ car garage, When we bought it, it had a sign that said:

NO TRESPASSING
SURVIVORS WILL
BE PROSECUTED

I like the "if you're found here tonight, you'll be found here tomorrow" ones
