Default storage in US vs UK

Hi
My shipment is going to stay here in the US until I find a place, could take a few months....so was told that it's probably cheaper to store it here with the shippers than pay storage charges in the UK (plus if it were to go the UK - I'd then have to pay for removers to unload it all - whereas it will go all the way through here with the original shippers and they'll unpack).

Anyone know what is the best way?

The USA will probably have humidity controlled whereas storage in the UK wont be. Best to email a couple of UK storage companies and get quotes.
Your original shippers will unpack if paid to do so and is in the contract.

It will probably be cheaper to store in US and as previous writer said it will be air controlled. We checked out storage while in UK this last winter wanting to leave just a few things there until our return end of the year and found their prices much higher than US or Canada just for a small unit. As it happened we didn't use it this time and left some our things with a relative.
