What's shit? The fourth? Well, I guess it can be, it's likely hot, big celebrations are packed with people, there's no place to park within miles and the food is crap and overpriced.

On the other hand, watching a huge fireworks display with the noise vibrating in your chest and the bursts so huge in the sky, listening to Copeland and thinking of how lucky I am to be an American is really kind of nice.
