Silly wedding gift

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a group of silly or slightly suggestive wedding gifts. The idea is that we get about 5 or 6 items and number them with a little poem or note to go along with them and the bride and groom open them in number sequence at the reception. We have a pregnancy test kit so far. The wedding is this weekend.

OMG - my sister bought this after she split from her partner and redecorated the kitchen ........ it's actually great and magnetised as well ........ but maybe a little bit expensive for a "silly" gift.

Gosh, I'd be really embarrassed to open such items at my reception!:o I hope they're the type that would be okay with it!

I got a piece of drainpipe made into a candle holder by my "creative" uncle.....needless to say I had him 'rubbed out' shortly afterward for bringing me anything less than an economy size bottle of vodka.

Stick to the frickin' registry (if there is one) and skip the "wacky" gifts. The last thing anyone needs is a bunch of novelty crap that they feel obliged to keep around the house.

WOW ..... what crap or wacky stuff did you get given that you feel obliged to keep around the house ??

Anyway - I understood that these wacky gifts were not a substitute for a more appreciated gift, but just for a bit of fun at the reception.

Actually, quite a bit, which was a shame, because those people had obviously spent hours and hours working to earn the money to buy something that they themselves would never have bought and with which we couldn't do anything. It was a kind gesture that ended up being a waste...

When I went through the process myself, I vowed never, ever to go "off piste" and buy stuff that wasn't on the Registry (assuming there was a Registry in the first place).
