Shatty Weather
Enough with the Wind and the Rain already!
As if Winter wasn't long enough, now we have a crapload of rain and high winds.
Last Wednesday, I helped pull a Driver out of a Truck which had been blown over in Rochelle, IL, due to High Winds. The first photo shows the Van I was driving alongside that Truck. I positioned the Van alongside the Truck, so as we could seek protection from the wind whilst we got him out of his Cab. 4 others also went over within the next half-mile.
Now, it's pishing down again and we are under all sorts of warnings.
The pics show some of the trucks, which had just been put back on their wheels.
Jim.

Re: Shatty Weather
I think I got the tail end of those storms, and they flattened a mature pine in my back yard. No damage was done, other than to a few smaller trees it took out on the way down, but it blocked the path I use for my ride-on mower. So that meant a couple of hours with my chain saw last Sunday afternoon. .... I couldn't really spare the time, but hey, any good reason to get out the chain saw is welcome!
