I was at a July 4th party last year while in Carmel and the hostess had bought in samosas from the local indian restaurant, me and hubby were the only ones that ate them as the other guests just looked at them, poked them and said 'they look funny'. I just shook my head in dismay. I came across a similar attitude at the Capriole cheese stand at the farmer's market. I am glad to have left that behind.
