Re: Self Portraits
Many, many thanks to everyone who voted. As you guessed, voting ended today and judging has started. Fingers crossed!

Re: Self Portraits
Just a quick update for all of you who have been so amazingly supportive of Ali's artwork.
The People's Choice prize was a draw between two artists...
BrooklynHilary
and...
rebekkagudleifsdottir
...each of whom had over 4,000 votes!
But we're still happy because a) you all voted for Ali because you like her work and b) because Ali's sold 7 major paintings this month through word of mouth and UGallery.com/AlisonJardine, to people just like you who like her artwork and want to own a piece!
Thank you all, from me and more importantly from Ali!

Re: Self Portraits
The first one does absolutely nothing for me, the second I can appreciate but does not draw me in. Ali's seem "alive" to me and I would love to have one to look at everyday.

The Icelandic chick weren't bad at least, but the other bird was very meh and studenty.
Oh well, still good publicity and these contests are who can spam the most. Entered a baby GAP photo thing for my little one, only a 100 odd votes, but the top few had over 400K votes and they really were babies only a mother could love. Quite a few really cute kids in the comp too who just didn't get any votes.

Re: Self Portraits
Thank you all for, as ever, being SUPER supportive of Ali's art... and hey, it's not over yet, since I hadn't realized that the People's Choice is only one of the prizes. Still the Grand Prize to be awarded sometime in February!
