I dont mind cuddling up on the couch to watch a good movie with a glass of wine, going out to dinner and then off to a bar afterwards.

I cant do the stare into each others eyes for hours stuff...thats for the honeymoon period when you've just met.
As a guy there are various stages of relationships with women that are each named.

1: The "I've just met her and I'm sucking up to get sex" stage.
2: The "We're having great sex pretty much all the time" stage
3: The "I really cant be bothered with all this romance bollocks" stage
4: The "WTF happened to the sex stage"
and lastly
5: The "I would bugger off and find someone else for sex but I get it once a week at home and I can't really be bothered training another woman" stage

PMSL!!!

That probably sums it up fairly well I'd bet. Can't disagree with much.

Did it ever occur to you that perhaps 3 leads to 4?

Of course it does. Just like we all know that using gasoline ruins the ozone but were humans...... We never think its going to happen to us.

But eventually ...it does but there is a bright side.

Thank god we can then move on to find another woman to have dirty sex with....because we cant find another planet to ****.

I'll vote for you - better choice than anyone I've seen running so far.

The amount of noxious gas Rushman's spewed in this thread makes me think HE's responsible for the ozone layer.

Some men are old fashioned romantics... Just the other day I came home with a dozen red roses for my wife - for no reason at all.

Of course you want the dirty, dirty sex, but the right woman wants that too and still wants to cuddle up to watch a movie sometimes.

Gee, noone's even tempted by my fireside massage.

Except the one who counts, of course :)

You did not bring them home for nothing....you brought them home for the same reason millions of men including myself have brought them home before.......to get in the good books and to help towards getting laid. Be honest Roland....she will admire you for it.

Don't you ever have any faith that the woman might like to get laid too? Just because she likes it? Or even likes you?

Some of us DO actually enjoy the project :)

Of course, but you can't tell me that most women want it as much as their husbands do. So we have to suck up a little with flowers and stuff to plant the seed of thought so to speak.

Roland, the poor boy, thinks he is actually doing it because he wants to.

Well I have no clue re. most women/husbands.

But myself personally, if we felt like it, we'd do it after hot dogs or a fancy dinner out, etc. The two aren't really related.

Massages (which aren't just romantic btw :D) and jacuzzis and stuff are just fun sometimes. Variety and all...

Now, you want her in the mood, let me tell ya.... nice sheepskin rug is less than $100 at Sams (or Costco)... nice bottle of massage oil, warmed in a glass of warm water... fireside massage... should put most women in the mood right quick!
