Hi, yes I've done the first two and I am just about to start the final one. I found them quite simple as I have a B.Ed in primary teaching therefore the theoretical perspectives are very similar, you just adapt for an older audience!
Colleagues of mine who have no H.E qualifications didn't find them too hard at all, time consuming but not brain mushingly difficult!

Hi Kiwibrit101,
Yes I did the PTTLS & CTTLS when they first came out in 2007 through North Cornwall adult education.
I'm so glad that I did as they opened up a completely new career for me.
When I returned to the UK after 23 years in Spain, I wanted to do a job that allowed me to use my fluent Spanish, teaching or tutoring was the last thing I would ever have imagined doing, (having worked in tourism all the time I was in Spain).
I went into Adult Ed on the of chance to see if they could give me any suggestions, and they offered me a job as a Spanish tutor, but explained that I would have to do these new courses that had just come out.
Unfortunately I didn't complete the CTTLS (on my to do list along with doing the DTTLS) as I returned to Spain after being in the UK for just one year.
But with the information and experience gained from the courses and teaching Spanish for adult ed, I have been able to set up a very successful business teaching English as a foreign language.
So after that very long winded answer I give the courses a definite thumbs up, great fun, interesting and a chance to meet new people.
Hope this helps.
Debbie
