I'm not a Brit, but I do have a personalized plate which says ... of all things ... NOORAH. Duh. LOL

Noorah, in the UK, the Sunday papers have listings of "cherished" number plates. Something like 4PR1L would probably set you back 4 or 5 grand.
Ridiculous. Mediocre "personalised plates" like XMB 124 would cost you hundreds. It's so dumb. The UK sucks the fun out of everything.

That's not bad...it's about $20 in Maine, after the extra $20 to press the plate....down in MA, it's something like $100 a year every November, plus the $100 to get one pressed and that's just for the standard, boring plate

There are a myriad of specialty plates you can get here in AZ one of the most obnoxious being the "Freedom" plate emblazoned with a flapping American flag. Usually attached to a huge truck or poser car.
I have been tempted to see if they would let me put "IMIGRNT" or "FOREIGN" on a Freedom plate. I'd probably get my tires slashed though.

I think you have to pay more on your annual registration if you have one in CA, so it's not just the initial cost.
