How could we overlook your posts, Lorna? ;)
The simple answer is: When I'm sober, you can't. I might ban you. When I'm pissed, I'll anwer you all and forget for a while that I can ban ... and when I remember it's too bloody hard to put in the secret code because when I get drinky, I get blindy also. |

Pet peeve - People that like to play the victim.
You know the kind... you post something, someone responds with a remark solely intended to bait you, so you respond with a piss take. In their next message they're crying about it, and saying how you're always on their case. It's just plain weird. |

It will be interesting how this develops as the decades go by, and as the succeeding cohorts get old and doddery. My father died in 2000, my mother in 2006. Neither of them had ever used a computer or a mobile phone. They had a cheque guarantee card I believe, but neither of them used a debit card or credit card. They paid for things with cash or a cheque, didn't use direct debit for anything. Certainly they received credit card offers in the mail and the bank kept sending them debit cards, but they were able to use their old methods till the end.
Now we are getting into a period when folks who've been using computers, plastic cards, emerging technologies all their adult lives are retiring & in some cases unfortunately getting senile. Hard to see how they will juggle the multifarious accounts, systems, pins and passwords as they progressively lose their marbles... |

What's age got to do with it, Cindy? We have a few on BE that say they're young, yet have obviously lost their marbles. You only have to read some of the posts to realise that. ;)

Bit early for me, If I was drinky at 4.30pm, I wouldn't even be able to think about dinner.
I wasn't hungry and the kids not much, so I told them to open the fridge and have a little pic-nic for themselves. I thought I was being a Goddamn lazy awful mum, and true to form - the bloody blighters loved it ! |

Okay - even I wasn't that drinky at lunch time but I damn well didn't want to make a big dinner either after a big, massive Sunday lunch.

I'm confused. You answer me, (although I didn't ask a question) but quote Robin's post?
