Fair enough. Probably a good move all in all. However if it was a work colleague....

She would argue, if she's anything like mine, that simply marrying her was enough ...

Back when I was still living in the UK I went to a colleague's office for a meeting. He decided to stand chatting with one of his team even though he could see me waiting. .... He had left his computer unlocked, so I added a word to his Word auto-correct database: every time he typed the word "department" Word changed it to "monkey house"! ..... It was 6-8 weeks before he noticed. :o

On the bright side, at least you had the opportunity to leave without having a meeting.

New pet peeve: meetings.

When someone leaves the milk out of the fridge for ages. Then puts it back. Then you wander into the kitchen and unsuspectingly pour a bowl of cereal. Then gross taste in your mouth for the rest of the day.

C'mon, what you really meant was "then you wander into the kitchen and take a swig before putting it back in the fridge....":sneaky:

Can't stand plain milk (perhaps a product of being forced to drink warm bottled milk in nursery school?), but if you widen the scope to squirty cream from a can then guilty as charged.

That's another one that gets my dog excited - and I would love to know how she found out that it's good, cos it wasn't from me!

Ps - what are your thoughts on kibble ?

Why does squirty cream have the kind of lid that makes it so easy to accidentally squirt it?

Why would anyone buy squirty cream :p

Young Sir discovered kibble when he was in his crawling stage, he decided he didn't like the taste.

(Yeah, I'm lazy).

For it to suddenly work and then hit your foot with the plug...less of a issue in the US compared to the UK....but equally as bad if you don't notice it's retracted and you end up standing on the plug in your bare feet :o

People who pull the car straight onto the pavement (without looking for pedestrians) when leaving the gas station forecourt. I was walking there!
