Photo portraits from those photo places...you get the pics and have to crop them yourselves, every time...with who ever you use.

WTF is that about? lazy shits.

There's a reason we didn't get any thing else not covered in the Groupon and the up-sell wasn't that inspiring.

Security questions for logging on to your bank's web site that ask for your first grade teacher's middle name, or anything else that was 50-60 years ago. I can't remember where I put my glasses down 15 minutes ago ...

I was given a coupon for Macy's. 20% of everything until January, including discounted items. And then I saw the exclusions, which featured named sales, every brand you can think of, furniture, shoes, cosmetics, watches, food/drink, etc. So pretty much just clothes by unknown brands that aren't in a specific sale. I feel blessed to have such a great coupon. Why do they have to make everything so difficult?

I had one of those coupons years ago. I did buy something with it that was on the list of brands excluded. I think the sales person mustn't have looked at the coupon very closely. Take it in to the store and try it on. Pretend you didn't read all the exclusions.

I ordered something this afternoon, online, two of them actually, and an hour after receiving the order confirmation I received a second e-mail from the company offering me a 20% 'good customer' discount to buy the same item before next Tuesday.

Yes, I have responded to the order confirmation telling them to either apply the 20% discount to the order or cancel it.

The postal service.

It took just over a week for a padded envelope to travel less than 15 miles.

WTF.

I suspect that the padded envelope travelled a lot further the door-to-door 15 miles.

Aye, it went via a third town, which is why it was around 15 miles...if it had been door to door, it was only 6 miles :/

Had the postmaster in all three towns trying to find where it went as it had some important info.

Interesting that it went via a local route, and not to some sorting center (my term) before coming back to the town next door. Unless the "third town" is where the sorting center is?

I just got one of last years Christmas cards returned as undeliverable, it had been all the way to Singapore and back though. Shame is, it actually got as far as the house next door, but dipstick here had put the wrong number on. At least I got it in time to put the right number on and turn it around again. They'll never know the Christmas letter is a bit out of date....lol:

on a related note, British Gas. They sent me a letter about my house back in the UK addressed with my name and the first line of my address here (ie "number street"). Nothing else - not even "USA".

By some miracle, Royal Mail and USPS colluded to get it delivered to me within 10 days. Might even have been less than that if Thanksgiving hadn't got in the way. How, I have no idea.

Credit cards always give their expiry dates in numbers, one or two digits for the month and two digits for the year. So why does every website sale where you put in the details always have the month in words and the year in four digits?
