No - the fact that I realised the 's' was dropped should demonstrate that I knew what he meant :)

Oh, it's darling? How unnecessarily gushy. That's as annoying as blokes being referred to as 'hubby'. That one makes me feel ill.

Wife, instead of wifey, as in "Oi, wife... I bloody love you!" Any complaints from her and I simply remind her she said yes when I asked her to marry me. She didn't have to. But she did. So there. |

Yes - that's right. Always fun to remind them that they got themselves into it ... |

I throw in the "you must be a slow learner" comment for good measure, as she's still here. It will be 15 years later this year. On July 12 to be exact. Unusual for the chap to remember such things. Mind you, I need to do the reminder bit - she was mostly pissed when she turned up at the church. Which means she was GMUI (getting married under the influence) - not sure we're legally married:eek:
 Can you tell I haven't had a lot of sleep this week  |

Wow, I haven't managed to drive my wife to drink in seven years, and yours was wankered before you said "I do" (or, as I'm sure it was in your case "I bloody love you mate. Stop looking at my pint. No, really, you're my best mate ...")
