so today is shrove Tuesday...pancake day.
Anyone making them? Uk or US version? Jiff lemon or maple syrup?
Our local IHOPs are giving away free pancakes from 7-10am for a donation to Shriner's...might have to go and check them out for breakfast

my kids don't like the english version <sigh> been over here too long and hubby is away so I probably won't make any. My mum always used to make them when we were kids

It's been so long since I had english pancakes! just the thought of them with sugar and lemon juice dripping down my chin is making me hungry! Think I may have to make myself a couple for lunch yummy!

None for me Orange, lemon and golden syrup were my favorite things to fill them with

well DD wants nutella on her pancakes..(something I've never considered) and me its good old golden syrup..

oo...I have some golden syrup in the pantry..maybe I'll make myself some for elevenses
