Pancakes anyone?
 
so today is shrove Tuesday...pancake day.
Anyone making them? Uk or US version? Jiff lemon or maple syrup?
Our local IHOPs are giving away free pancakes from 7-10am for a donation to Shriner's...might have to go and check them out for breakfast:)

Didn't realise it was Shove Tuesday, (living upside down, you do forget these things .. :lol:) so in answer to your question no, but I'll have a pancake Wednesday instead .. :lol:

UK version of course, and real lemons for us :)

hmm.. you've just given me an idea for Lunch, DD is off school today as she has a sore throat..

She can try the english version for a change..

my kids don't like the english version <sigh> been over here too long and hubby is away so I probably won't make any. My mum always used to make them when we were kids:)

Lemon and Sugar or just lemon for me,

The Mrs is turning her nose up at Lemon and Sugar, she thinks it'll be 'gritty', coming from someone who eats grits :ohmy:

It's been so long since I had english pancakes! just the thought of them with sugar and lemon juice dripping down my chin is making me hungry! Think I may have to make myself a couple for lunch yummy!
