Re: Paddys Day
I have never noticed before, but now it seems to be everywhere: "Patty's Day",
"St Patty's". I do not know why I find it so infuriating, but I do. |

Re: Paddys Day
This is one of the most annoying things I've encountered so far. How can they take something that is nothing to do with them and change the spelling of it. Oh yeah, forgot where I was for a second.

I tell you what's ignoring, working downtown in the midst of all the craziness. The day has been a waste of time for me.

One good thing about St. Paddy's Day...the beach especially in a college town. For UE, see I don't just take pics of airplanes ;)

Re: Paddys Day
Throw in the riots in London, Canada... Beginning to sound a bit more like bits of Belfast in former times... But that's ok because the beer was green. Tw@ts.

My yank husband actually says "Wimpleton." When I protest, he says I don't know how to pronounce it properly.

Oh and V-signs to paranoidandroid from above, by the way :p. Also, to all the plastic paddies - I believe tonrob is right about him being Welsh - so he's a British saint. I look forward to seeing Welsh dragons and Union Flags in abundance next March. I will still be happy to take your money though :) |
