You are obviously not a chocolate and alcohol connoisseur.

Seems weird to me too.

Then again, I don't really like wine, so that sort of gets in the way.

Neither do it...but flavored with sweet dark chocolate makes it irresistible.

Can't see it myself, but oh well.

That's the good thing about cider. It doesn't need anything added in to improve the taste

I miss going to farms with melted concrete under the taps of cider vats.

Default Proper Cadbury's Now Banned in USA!?

Hi all.

My first post is out of annoyance. I have learnt that authentic British made Cadbury's chocolate is no longer able to be imported from the UK as a result of some lawsuit by Hershey's!?

I'm not sure on the exact reasoning (anyone?) But what I do know is we're going to be stuck with the definitely inferior American made equivalents as a result.

It's not the end of the Twirld (sorry) however Cadbury's is better than any American chocolate and is a taste of home! Apart from stockpiling and petitioning I can't see a way round it.

I'd be interested to know if anyone else is annoyed by this!

Seen it in a few news articles

Cadbury in the US: Fans stockpile sweets - BBC News

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/hershey-...ury-chocolate/

So glad I am in Canada and Walmart has a small section where I can get, flakes, twirl, curly wurly, double decker to name a few

Why oh why would you ever want to support Cadbury by buying their products? There is way more better to choose from in the US.

This. I never bought Cadbury's milk chocolate in the UK anyway, I always prefer plain/ dark chocolate.

My favourite is Snickers, just a shame they don't do that in plain chocolate

Well the consensus seems to be indifference so far.. Fair enough, but for me I'm a British faithful when it comes to chocolate - definitely don't agree that the US' is better I'm afraid. Thanks for the articles - interesting!
If anyone can think of a way round it for those that do love their Cadbury's do pray tell.
