I noticed this when I got my new Directory - there is a little US flag on the bottom right!

Monsoon also ship to the US as well but I am sure you all know that!

Its funny all these comments about holes, because my SIL who just moved from New Zealand (lived there for the past year) said that top loaders are more popular there and she hated hers. She said it put holes in her clothes. I always have mine on the highest agitating speed and I've yet to get a hole in anything. But I have had my bra strap get caught on the agitator, that's a pain in rear....

Front loaders are nice and next washing machine we'll probably splash out and get one, they're so expensive! However our top loader just broke a few weeks ago and my ever handy husband was able to fix it....

We rent our house and the washing machine is a top loader and ancient, which is probably whats causing the holes. I don't understand though why not 1 single item I brought over with me has got a hole.

I can't believe I'm getting in on this thread..

but, bras are *way* too expensive (mine anyway) to throw in the washer on the loose.
You 'should' use a lingerie bag (mesh zipper top bag) for your delicate delicates & hose OR wash by hand (yeah, right).

I can't explain the hole conspiracy; I've never had that problem and we have US and UK clothes and a US top loading washer.

Top loader huh? For the first 2 year we lived in a rental complete with a brand new top loading washing machine. Little holes appeared in almost all our clothes. When we bought a house I bought a front loader...hey presto no more holes.

So you bought a top loader and the clothes were fine, but the rental top loader put holes in your clothes?

How do you close the top? Or you just let fly?

I think delicate laundry skills are an admirable male quality.

I'm sorry to laugh, really....but I can't imagine what you guys are doing to your clothes? Your clothing bills must be astronomical!

Am I just buying different clothes and my washing machine doesn't chew them up and spit them out? It was a cheapie Kenmore from the Sears dent and scratch store, cost all of $250 odd dollars and we've had it for over 5 years I always leave it on the highest agitation.... I've never had a hole put in any of our clothes.

Maybe you guys are buying too expensive of machines?
