New speed limits

Vimto, I use to conveniently work late on Christmas eve just so I could fly into Midland and save a 5 hour drive, it always was better to drive away rather than to the place. For a small town I can never get my head around how it shuts down at 7 pm! Even when I lived in my old home town of Aberystwyth things stayed open late!

If you think Midland is bad then you should try working out of Sweetwater, it might be the wind turbine capital but its a #$%& hole, I had the 'pleasure' of commuting back and forth from Atlanta for 3 years. Was dry until a year back only a couple of places to eat and both were barbeque which is fine for 2 nights but not for 2 weeks
The only alternative was to commute there from Abilene which at least had some alternatives.

Thank God for the new Texas Speed limits, now my 350 Mile Dallas to Midland/Odessa trip can be safely (NO TICKETS) be done in 4:30 hrs....Just a little over the limit.........After 10 years here, I have one dismissed ticket and 3 warnings, one in Williamson County.........AMAZING for those in Texas. So lead foot friends, lets hear those stories.
Your username is Nigs. Not sure how I feel about that.
