We spent Christmas 1995 in Orlando, it was zero or below. On Christmas Day the Christmas potted plants/flowers decorations at the entrance to Disney had been removed because of the cold weather. We were there for over 2 weeks and it was cold most of that time, locals told us it had been cold all December,

One time, probably mid 1980s because our daughter was in the stroller, we went to Miami Zoo and there was some kind of freak blizzard and/or hailstorm. I remember the parking lot, the ice pellets were in piles several feet high. I can’t remember exactly how they shifted it, since they certainly didn’t have snowplows ...

When those rare snows happen in the Deep South it’s best to stay home. The local drivers don’t have a clue on how to drive in snow.

My missus reported 4C one morning, a few days back. Perhaps hell is finally about to freeze over...

-7C here + it is very windy. Just saw a guy cycling wearing shorts. Just shorts. No other clothing whatsoever.

Beat that. :p ;)

The TikToker who put Gorilla Glue in her hair is still living with her nightmarish mistake, the glue brand's remedies aren't working ... and now she's lawyering up.

She is in Louisiana.

Reminds me of a friend in the UK who bought a microwave. It had separate instructions for UK & US. The US one stated "Do not immerse this appliance in water". Apparently, that warning wasn't necessary for the UK.

In all fairness there is nothing on the label warning users not to use it on their hair.

Hey, if you're 43 years old and you've just won your seventh Super Bowl I think you ought to be able to get wasted on a boat.

He threw it to Gronk so the trophy was relatively safe, but they just showed the video on the news and fans are packed shoulder to shoulder on both sides all the way down the canal. Looks like another potential super-spreader.

Oh joy, I'm due to be in Tampa in a couple of weeks. Looks like it will be work in lab, drive to hotel, order delivery, eat in solitude of hotel room, rinse and repeat, which is what I was planning but now I'll be even more careful to avoid unnecessary interactions. :(
