I can sleep upright albeit with my head lolling a bit.

Makes my back not hurt... Which is more important to me than Pulaski's knees.

At least you have room for your back.

After the news of the past couple of weeks, y'all should keep an eye open for me in the news the next time I fly because I am not going to wrap my legs around behind my neck just so the passenger in front can recline their seat.

My legs are what they are, on planes and at concerts.

There was one memorable occasion when security at Wembley Arena shone a torch and flapped at me because they thought I was standing on my seat. .... The girl directly in front of me had been standing on her seat, and security made her get down, .... even though standing on her seat, her head was still below mine!

The whole reclining thing is so overblown, I have never had any issue with space when someone reclines, and I am tall and still manage to have a comfortable flight. Some people have just become too self absorbed.

I had knee pain for about 3 days after a flight because all the seats in the rope in front of me reclined and there wasn't enough room for my legs. Another flight I inadvertently yelled out in pain because the person in front of me reclined quickly and unexpectedly and the tray jammed into my knees. In general, without the seat in front reclined I have about 1.5 inches of space between the seat and my knees for an international flight, less on the smaller plane. I don't recall ever having a comfortable flight, other than a small prop plant where there wasn't a seat in front of me, and most flights I get off with mild to moderate knee pain.
