OK, take your point. Triple digits all year round would be crap. I like seasons. Kids get grumpy when it is piss-istently raining too though. However you do manage to collect a nice selection of hooded anoraks, brollys and waterproof footwear.
I would still rather be warmer than colder though. If I did have to choose between the extremes I would pick heat over cold any day.

Sounds like our Greek island, and I loved it. The first summer was hard, just getting dropped into it, but once we'd over-wintered, it reminded me of growing up in N California.

Go Steve!

I am with your wife - I will be doing the a/c dive from now until October. Car to House to Car to Store to House. You would get on well with my hubby though, he lies out in it and bakes and loves nothing more than getting on his Harley.

Speaking of, does anyone know a good drywall guy in the Fort Worth/Arlington area? I have to repair it before we move next month.

I disagree with my wife once or twice a month just to keep her from getting bored.

Usually I regain consciousness within half an hour or so.

. We don't argue anymore. But for the last 15 months we only see each other for 24 hours every two weeks! That helps.

Time apart definitely helps. I went away for a week once, my wife almost liked me when I got back

True. I have no plans or desire to visit England anytime soon but I would give anything for a full English breakfast or an Ulster fry

It's been years since I've had an Ulster fry - I really do miss those.
