Ouch. I hope they loaded you up with morphine or something for the pain.

I also hope they fix your leg.

Tattooed, shirtless looters arrested for stealing power pole as police turn up the heat | Fox News

Not inconspicuous at all.

I'm wincing at the thought. Rest up and wishing you a speedy recovery

Hubby is an avid DIYer. This brought back memories of the time he put a pick through his ankle.

Ouch! Mine is really just a little cut but the blade hit bone so they had to wash it thoroughly while I was under anesthetic.

I am cringing! I once bounced a bread knife off a baguette onto my thumb and needed half a dozen stitches and that was bad enough. Your injury sounds awful! All the best for a full and speedy recovery.

My missus tried her utmost to get me to go to the ER two months ago when my circular saw kicked back over my left thumb, it's still a bit numb on the end but I'd rather stick pins in my eyes than have medics mess with a bit of a cut. Probably a good move on AL's part though, exposed bone can be a bit of a bugger for getting infected.

As we are talking about accidents...

Many years ago I chopped my husband's finger off. It was an accident.

What were you intending to chop off?

I had just bought a new car. As soon as we got it home...typical man wanted to look underneath...so he jacked it up. When he was underneath he put his fingers through one of the gaps in the alloy wheel. I decided to give the wheel a spin. Off came the end of his ring finger. It didn't come right off...it was hanging off with a bit of skin.
