There is paint on some of the walls now, not all of them but we are getting there

The flooring should arrive on Saturday but still no date on the kitchen.

When the kitchen does show up before installation do a quick check on measurements and condition.
I have known at least three cases where the dimensions were significantly different from the original order and had to be sent back.

I can laugh now but the total incompetence of Home Depot was unbelievable. Long story short: we ordered and paid for the flooring and we're told it would be two weeks. Two weeks and still being told no order received yet. Then when I was checking prices on doors i asked the young guy about my flooring order I was told there was no order for us. He did some checking for me and found out it had arrived two days after our order and they had put it on the shelf and sold it. I am not a ashamed to admit that I totally lost it but amazingly within 2 hours they managed to find all the flooring we had paid for from surrounding area stores and delivered it. I wanted to cancel the order but that meant finding it somewhere else and waiting.

By the way if you want a quiet easy life...stay away from me!

I think all things considered, losing it over their incompetence was justified. At least you got the right result. I'd do that more often if I were you.

Yes! So pleased to see your kitchen taking shape. If not for Christmas, you should be able to have our SR's by New Year's.

How bloody horrible of Home Despot to do such a thing. Lucky for them you don't carry.
