It's what's trending now:p

We decided to expand slightly. Our mostly now unused large game room built as an add on before we bought the house is now going to be the kitchen and the old kitchen will be a larger area added to the living room. So bigger doorways and walls coming down...we will have room for wheelchairs when we finally become old and infirm

Are you remodeling on one level...or are you installing a stair lift.

It's all one level. Stair lift not needed.

I may have to look at one of the walk in bath tubs though. :sneaky:

Can't wait to see the kitchen. What are the room dimensions? What type/color cabinets? I'm a nosey Parker

You planning where the ramp is going to be?

Maybe look into having a wet room for a shower room with a door wide enough for a wheelchair.

Love plain and simple ;-) Quaker style, all the way. No beveled cabinets where the grease and dust accumulates is the way to go. Plain fronts is my idea of highly efficient and functional.

Only goes to prove, if you are named Harvey you are nothing but trouble:thumbdown:
