Friendly veterans football in Houston?
Dear Houstonians
I'm sure there was a post in recent times regarding the following, but I can't find it, if it ever existed,
Does anyone know of a casual football meet, catering for the middle aged expat trying to manage his expanding waistline?
Northwest Houston would be perfect, but willing to travel.
Thanks.

Let me have some coffee and I'll see if I can find the post you're referring to.
In short though there are plenty of places to play and also over 30 and over 40 leagues. I also live in the NW (cypress) and am not aware of pickup games close by (most of the pickup games I'm aware of are more central) but can easily find out for you (I play indoor 6-a-side at Kicks and Southwest) and play league on a Sunday.

Have you thought of asking West Ham, if you are a defender?

Are you wanting to competitively (I use the word loosely - there are plenty of teams/divisions where the emphasis is on having fun rather than it being a super competitive environment and I really mean in an organized fashion for a team) or just going down the park and being able to have a kick around?
