There was I being all nice giving a presentation, when one guys decides to completely misinterpret what I was saying, as in, no word of what I said bore any relation to what he was going on about.

"What are you a Russian or a Jap?" (this had me a little confused, I have been assumed to be Russian before, but never Japanese)

"I am from England"

"So you come over from England, and insult America"

blah blah blah, he stands up and I thought he was going to have a go, he was an old geezer, it was a seniors center, but that was not going to look good to my boss, I go promoting our services and start a fight.

Anyway he leaves, and the others apologise for him. It was an interesting experience.

I ran across a moron going up to my daughter's school a week ago (in the parking lot.) He had his dog tied to a rope and the rope was tied to a sign and the rope stretched across the entrance to the parking lot. I slowed down, not to hit the dog but drove slowly over the rope (plenty of rope there, at least 100 feet) and the guy calls me a dumbass because I was going to hit his dog...

Ahhh yes, they're out there....

These are actually Dem talking points.... "Cling to guns and religion." sound familiar?

Just trying to balance the leftist rants that occur here.

Repb's wnat to "posion our water" "throw grandma off a cliff".

Your sanctimony is not effective or in line with the MSM.

Cheers

ah, balance... Possibly the biggest casualty of the First Amendment and the practical way the law is (not) accessed today...

... So I'm very happy we try and have some here on BE.

And I mean balance in the QUALITY of argument more than the quantity.

Unless we're talking about the French :p

That's lovely but it has nothing to do with your inability to understand parody or recognise a double entendre though, does it?

Oh puh-leeeeeese. It is not our fault that you decided to position yourself somewhere to the right of Attila the Hun and Adolf Hitler, but yeah, I can see how everybody else would seem leftist from your point of view.

_I_ consider myself right-wing conservative, and if you're to my right, you belong in a strait-jacket.
