Default Fires In NC and SC

Praying and hoping that all our members who live in the States of North and South Caroline are safe from the wildfires that are taking property and lives.

I know we have more than a few in those states and my thoughts are with you.

Sounds nasty over there, especially as those areas are still struggling after Hurricane Helene.

Stay safe people.

This is the first I've heard of fires in NC, or SC. I had heard there is a burn ban.

That's MAGA country, I hope they're not expecting "the government" to help. Prayer and local church youth groups should be able to handle it. 🙄

As long as they are native-born Americans and not foreign or anything. American firefighters for American fires.

Late to the thread.
I read somewhere a while back that while California gobbles up the news for forest fires it’s the Carolinas that qualify for the largest number of forest fires, but these are early in the year for us.
iFortunately the area concerned has a sparse population, although all these mountain tops are being overrun with the development ofmulti-million dollar properties.
I had a great view of the fires last week while working on one of those McMansions, about ten miles away.
The smoke in Greenville, SC one day was pretty grim but otherwise it’s business as usual.
